New Thought Marketing Success StoriesJones Lang LaSalle is the largest commercial real estate management and services firm. Their Retail Group, headquartered in Atlanta, was looking for a fresh perspective for their trade show marketing, including an ad campaign that runs in major industry publications such as Shopping Center Today, Retail Traffic and Shopping Center Business. Our task was to create attention-getting ads with strong headlines and graphic elements that could be the centerpiece of other marketing materials. Our Solution: Use a celebrity spokesperson. Rarely done in industry publications, this strategy can have a big impact. We used a bold, modern pattern in the ads that we were then able to carry through to a wide range of pre-trade show marketing materials. Their largest conference includes an annual bash for clients at GhostBar in Las Vegas. For a unique invitation, we designed a little black book of cocktails, wrapped with a belly band that had the party details. We also created an electronic version of the invitation, which was an animated version of the cocktail book, with pages that automatically flipped and revealed the invitation. "Sherean and the team at New Thought Marketing took the time to understand what drives our business and then got in the 'think-tank' with us and strategized. We were able to focus our message and communicate it in a very creative way." Bernadette DiMauro, Jones Lang LaSalle Temporary Accommodations is one of the insurance industry's leading providers of temporary housing. When New Thought Marketing first started working with them in 2002, they were poised and expanding into the next level of their business. At the time, they had four employees; today, they have over 30 and continue to flourish. We recommended focusing their marketing efforts in the Southeast, developing repeatable processes and systems, and then branching out to other divisions. Over the years, we have worked with them to develop a new identity, positioning statement, logo, and sales materials. In addition, we designed a trade show booth, produced magazine advertisements, created direct mail programs to generate leads, and most recently served as their Interim V.P. of Sales to develop and manage their sales department. They have undoubtedly increased their awareness in the industry and generated more business than ever thought possible. New Thought Marketing Results: Over 300% in revenue growth the first year we worked with them; over 100% growth every year since. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I just wanted to thank you for all that you have done for my company. Who would have known a year ago, while we were brainstorming for our positioning statement 'the fastest way to place your policyholders, nationwide,' that we actually would be the fastest. . . Not only do we place them fast but so far, we have increased our business over last year by an average of 327.67%. WOW! What a difference a year makes when you are steered in the right direction by the right people!!!" Aaron Wilson, President, Temporary Accommodations The S.O.S. Project S.O.S., or Students Organized for Somalia, was the brainchild of our founder, Sherean Malekzadeh, while she was working for a local television station in Louisville, Kentucky. At the time, thousands of people were dying each day as a result of famine in Somalia. This was months before the U.S. sent in troops. With the television station's backing, Sherean co-wrote a song with a local musician, acquired a bank to underwrite the project, pulled together a group of middle school kids to perform the song, found a recording studio and musicians to donate their time, and directed a music video to accompany the song. New Thought Marketing's Results: Tapes of the song were sold at the bank and enough money was raised to provide 40,000 meals through the Red Cross. The project received international attention and acclaim, and was featured on CNN-International, CBS Evening News, and MTV News, in addition to front-page articles in several major U.S. newspapers. The logo for the project earned an Addy award and the music video was nominated for a regional Emmy. |
